I used this bag while swimming in the Caribbean and had it either submerged or floating in the water for over an hour with no leakage at all. The zipper wasn’t as difficult to close as I expected and I opened it several times throughout the day I carried it. I worry a little about how long the material will hold up along the zipper side seam with all of the pulling but for now it’s perfect. Held phone, keys, card, cash, lip balm and sunscreen stick with room for more. I mostly wore it crossbody on my chest or back and the strap felt a little short while taking it on/off, that seems it may not be super size inclusive as a waist strap but it could easily be swapped out for a longer strap if needed. Overall it’s perfect for my needs!
I was using this on my scuba trip and loved that I could use my phone while it never coming out of the bag. Everyone on the boat were jealous!
I’ve used it a handful of times already and I love this bag! I’m always worried that someone will steal my stuff at the beach while I’m swimming so this helps by allowing me to keep everything important on me while in the ocean! And it’s absolutely waterproof. I love the orange color just so it stands out in the water.
I am type one diabetic, and have a great passion for snorkeling. However, I was always hindered by my anxiety for having low blood sugars in the water, and would constantly have to go back to shore or the boat to check my blood sugar levels. With the waterproof belt bag, I can keep my phone (which is my continuous glucose monitor receiver) and glucose tabs with me, so I always know what my blood sugar is and have something on hand if it does start to get low. Even when I dive down, it keeps everything dry. Thank you for making something I love more accessible for me and other T1D people everywhere :)
I bought the Booe belt bag to bring while vacationing in the Philippines. It worked perfectly for traveling, beach days, snorkeling, and exploring cities.
The zipper was a little difficult to use until it was “broken in” and I used the lubrication wipe on it. Nonetheless, it was completely waterproof and I carried my phone around in it in while diving up to 3 meters.
One flaw I thought of the bag was that with the belt/strap being positioned where they are-the bag flipped around from the clear side (had $, cards) to the non-clear side and I didn’t like that aspect because people could see your $. Also, my Iphone 14 fit best without a case on it while in the bag.
Overall, I would buy again and I would submit a picture if that was an option.
